Position Title: Tax Accountant / Tax Manager 

The Role YOU will Play:

This company is currently seeking Tax Accountants f rom entry level to Senior Manager Level  in various expertise in the public accounting industry. You will be working in a team environment and interact with a variety of clients. 

• Maintain confidentiality in all client matters
• Prepare basic tax returns
• Prepare estimated tax payments for individuals and businesses entities
• Research tax issues of minimal complexity
• Respond to less complex IRS notices
• Seek an understanding of the client's business
• Develop ability to identify ethical, independence and/or conflict issues, refers to management immediately
• Utilize and develop a basic understanding and working knowledge of various tax programs and/or requisite software and internal workflow/procedures
• Follow established business processes and practices
• Produce quality work products in accordance with taxing authorities, GAAP, and firm policies and procedures
• Show interest in and may engage in community events and activities including networking and recruiting opportunities, firm-sponsored or otherwise
  

Background Profile:

• B.A./B.S. degree or equivalent from an accredited university (Accounting or Business Economics Major preferred), or actively pursuing a professional certificate from an accredited school or university.
  
• Have knowledge of IRS Circular 230 Regulations Governing the Practice of Attorneys, Certified Public Accountants, Actuaries.
• Enrolled Agents Before the IRS and the AICPA Professional Code of Conduct preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail are a must.
