The Infusion Registered Nurse is accountable for the delivery of direct patient care, including patient education and the management of chemotherapy, biotherapy and immunotherapy administration.
The Registered Nurse (RN) supports professional nursing practice across practice settings and across the continuum of care to meet the needs of the patient and family; assesses the needs of the patient undergoing infusion treatment; plans, implements, and evaluates patient care; and teaches patients, families, orients colleagues and peers.
The RN administers injections, IV hydration, blood products, and chemotherapy, biotherapy and immunotherapy.

BSN
Two (2) or more years of recent (in last 3 years) experience administering chemotherapy, biotherapy, immunotherapy to Pediatric patients
Demonstrated ability to start IVs
Experience as a float nurse
Two or more years of recent Ambulatory Care experience
Certification in Ambulatory Care or Oncology nursing
Certification by Oncology Certified Nurse- (OCN), Certified registered Nurse Infusion (CRNI)
Experience with electronic medical records, specifically EPIC. Computer/typing skills such as Microsoft Word and Excel

Hourly range for Registered Nurses $40.18-$62.31/ hour
The benefit package includes:
Hours: 40 hrs/wk, 5-8hr shifts Hours to fall between 7a and 6pm
Shift: Days: Variable days of the week. May include weekends.. Variable shift lengths. Flexibility required.
The standard hours of operation for the Infusion Center are Monday through Friday, 7a-6p with extended hours for continued patient care. Saturday and Sunday hours may be added based on patient needs.
Location and home unit: ACNRP Infusion cluster
This position is covered under the collective bargaining agreement between the U-M and the Michigan Nurses Association and the U-M Professional Nurse Council union, which contains and settles all matters with respect to wages, benefits, hours and other terms and conditions of employment.
