• Examines contents and compares with records, such as manifests, invoices, or orders, to verify accuracy of incoming or outgoing shipment.
• Prepares documents, such as bills of lading, and shipping orders in accordance with Toyota guidelines.
• Corresponds with establishment representatives to rectify problems, such as damages, shortages, and nonconformance to specifications; within the timeframe required by Toyota.
• Requisitions and stores shipping materials and supplies to maintain inventory of stock.
• Receives and stocks tires, storing correctly. Pulling special order tires for immediate use and sale.
• Ensures all parts are properly stocked in correct bins at ALL times, no part should be out of proper location for any reason.
• Assist in keeping parts area clean, and orderly.
• Restocking of inventory to correct assigned bin locations.
• Communicates parts back-orders and manual release logs daily to parts manager.
• Operate forklift, after required training and certification.
• Assist other parts counter staff.
• Parts delivery when necessary.
• Assists with cycle counts for department inventory management.
• Participates in all required training programs when made available.
• Properly processes all warranty parts following all established procedures.
• Notifies parts manager of out-of-stock parts or shop materials that require immediate attention.
• Helps to maintain clean and organized department in accordance with current guidelines.
• List and sell parts online. This includes processing and listing parts and packaging and shipping orders.
