We are looking for a Licensed Loan Officer Assistant who is committed to providing exceptional service, working collaboratively, and taking pride in helping clients achieve their homeownership goals. As part of our team, you will play a key role in guiding clients through the loan process, offering expertise, and building lasting relationships.
This is a 1099 independent contractor position with competitive compensation based on your experience and performance.
Compensation: $42,500 - $120,000 per year
Key Responsibilities:
Client Management:
After an initial consultation with clients to understand their financial and homeownership goals, you will take the lead in the pre-approval process.
Collect and review all necessary financial documents.
Accurately set up loan applications using systems such as ARIVE and LendingPad.
Structure loan qualifications based on a variety of loan options.
Issue pre-approval letters promptly.
Maintain consistent, clear communication with clients, real estate agents, and other partners throughout the process.
Provide outstanding customer service, building strong relationships with all involved parties.
Transaction Management:
Ensure smooth, efficient loan processing by:
Collaborating with loan processors and underwriters.
Proactively addressing and resolving any challenges or obstacles.
Managing deadlines and tasks with great attention to detail.
Using LoanSifter to identify the best loan programs and rates.
Communicating confidently with account executives at lending institutions to secure optimal loan terms.
Team Collaboration:
Contribute to the team's success by:
Actively participating in virtual team meetings and training sessions.
Sharing knowledge and ideas to enhance team performance.
Continuously seeking ways to improve processes and elevate the client experience.
Qualifications:
Active NMLS License.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in mortgage lending, preferably as a loan processor, underwriter, or loan officer assistant.
Strong knowledge of major investor guidelines, including Conventional, FHA, and VA loans.
Proficiency with loan origination systems like ARIVE and LendingPad (experience with both is a plus).
Experience using LoanSifter to compare loan programs and pricing.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
Self-motivated and able to work independently, while also being a collaborative team player.
Positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Non-QM, Hard/Private Money lending.
Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field.
Experience working with diverse client populations.
Fluency in multiple languages.
A passion for continuous personal and professional development.
Interest or experience in real estate investing.
