Job Summary

Georgia Gwinnett College (GGC) invites applicants for an Assistant Professor faculty position in the Department of Exercise Science and Physical Education starting August 1, 2025.
Candidates will be expected to teach a variety of courses within the exercise science discipline, including but not limited to Epidemiology, Global Health, Health Communications, Community Health and Wellness, and Health Promotion Program Planning. Faculty are also expected to mentor students in the exercise science major, serve on committees as discipline representative and/or in a leadership role, as well as engage in scholarship and creative activities. Applicants with a strong commitment to undergraduate education through student engagement and research are encouraged to apply.

Required Qualifications

Applicants should hold a Ph.D. in Exercise Science, Health Promotion, Health Education, or a closely related field, on or before the semester of the start date and a minimum of 18 graduate credit hours within the discipline.
