Position Summary:

Our Behavioral Health Department employs community-driven and skilled clinicians to provide integrated care in our Health Centers. We are seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team. As key mental health professionals, the LCSW provides clinical assessments and psychotherapy in our Children and Adult Behavioral Health Divisions. This current role works in our Harlem-based Community Health Center. 

Minimum Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Social Work required.  
• NYS Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
• Familiarity with evidence-based modalities.
• 2+ years of previous experience in a mental health clinic, hospital, behavioral health, or similar setting required.  
• Candidate should ideally possess previous experience working with substance abuse disorder populations.

Key Duties:

• Provides bio-psychosocial assessments and clinical diagnostic assessments.
• Conducts individual psychotherapy and counseling services to children within public schools.
• Maintains skills and knowledge in clinical theory and practice to help patients overcome dependencies, adjust to life, and make changes.
• Provides counseling to family members to assist with understanding and supporting patients. 
• Engages in crisis intervention when necessary and refers patients or family to community resources. 
• Provides consultation to medical providers. Collaborates with physicians to develop and implement treatment and intervention programs. 
• Participates in clinical team meetings.

Starting Compensation:  

Minimum $85,000 per year; Maximum $94,000 per year

Work Environment Type, Location, and Schedule:

Onsite; Harlem, NY; Monday through Friday 8am-5pm
