The New York Red Bulls are one of 30 teams in Major League Soccer (MLS). RBNY, one of the ten charter clubs of MLS, have competed in the league since its founding in 1996. The Red Bulls play home matches at Sports Illustrated Stadium (SIS) in Harrison, New Jersey. The three-time MLS Supporters' Shield Winners are owned by the Austrian beverage company Red Bull for which the team is named. The New York Red Bulls offer one of the nation's premier youth soccer development programs, from local soccer partnerships across New York and New Jersey to Regional Development Schools and the Red Bulls Academy teams.

Purpose of this Internship

The New York Red Bulls are seeking a motivated college student to join our Finance team, focusing on financial planning and analysis. This internship offers an excellent learning opportunity for students passionate about developing their skills in financial management within the sports industry.

The intern will gain hands-on experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, while developing an understanding of how FP&A collaborates with various departments to drive strategic decision-making. They will assist with financial modeling, budget analysis, and revenue and expense tracking to support the club’s financial operations.

• Currently pursuing a degree in accounting, finance, or another related field of study.
• Detail oriented and strong problem solver with solid analytical abilities.
• Demonstrated positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills, should be able to effectively collaborate and interact with others.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities to meet deadlines.
• Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot-tables, v-lookups, and other complex formulas is helpful but not mandatory.
